How Deep Will Your Roots Grow?
WHAT AWAITS YOU
Step into a Roots and Psyche retreat designed to nurture your body, mind, and spirit.
Here, you’ll find space to heal, reconnect, and transform — guided with care, compassion, and integrity at every stage of the journey.
A Journey of Transformation
This retreat is more than an event — it is a sacred passage into self-discovery, healing, and profound connection with yourself and others. Every step is designed to help you unfold into your fullest potential.
A Safe & Sacred Space
With a blend of psychology, sexology, somatic work, and ceremony, we create a container of trust, compassion, and care. In this intimate setting, your story matters, your nervous system can rest, and your truths can be honoured.
Guided Every Step
You are never alone in this process. With experienced facilitators by your side and a supportive circle around you, you’ll be held before, during, and after retreat — ensuring your insights flow into everyday life.
Meet Your Guides
Welcome to our shared space of healing, where science and spirit meet.
We are Massimo Fontana and Katarzyna (Kat) Korobacz, two facilitators brought together by a deep passion for supporting people through personal journeys of transformation.
Together, we hold this retreat as an intentional space — a place where you can feel safe enough to let go, get curious, explore, and be yourself, supported in reconnecting with the wholeness that has been within you all along.
Katarzyna Korobacz
My journey has always been about walking alongside others in their tender and vulnerable moments.
What matters most to me is creating spaces where people feel safe enough to truly be themselves: where choice, honesty, and empowerment can naturally unfold.
The deeper truth is this: you are not broken. Growth is not repair but remembrance: a return to the wholeness already within you.
I believe that when we are met with presence and without judgment, we are more able to reconnect with our own inner strength and wisdom.
I value patience and the natural rhythm of growth, trusting the body and nervous system to guide us back into balance when given the chance.
At the heart of it all, I trust the quiet wisdom each person carries.
What matters is creating the conditions for that wisdom to be heard, trusted, and embodied. It is a privilege to walk alongside others in this unfolding.
Massimo Fontana
My path of discovery has shown me that growth is not about fixing what is broken, but about recognising the wholeness that has always been there.
The resources we need are often already within us, waiting to be uncovered and lived into.
I am drawn to the bravery it takes to meet life honestly, to lean into intimacy without judgment, and to celebrate the singularity of each story.
Each encounter is its own teacher, and I try to welcome what arises with openness, patience, and reverence.
I am especially intrigued by the interplay between masculine and feminine energies, the ways our histories shape the body, and the rituals of release and renewal that help us move forward.
These thresholds are reminders — not only of what we are ready to shed, but also of the possibilities that emerge when we step into authenticity, choosing to live with truth, presence, and a full embrace of who we are.
Our Mission
Though our backgrounds are different, our purpose is shared. We bring our voices, perspectives, and practices together to create retreats that honour both the clinical and the experiential, the psychological and the ceremonial. We believe that true transformation happens in relationship: with yourself, with others, and with the mycelium. For us, the mycelium is only one part of the journey — the real magic is found in the people you meet, the insights you uncover, and the community you carry with you long after the retreat ends.
It is our privilege to hold this space with integrity, care, and reverence. When you step into retreat with us, you are not entering a program; you are entering a container — one built on compassion, presence, and respect for the profound work you are undertaking. We are here to walk alongside you as guides, witnesses, and fellow humans on the path of becoming.
Our Approach
Our retreats are held with care, intention, and respect. They are not therapy, nor are they a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. Instead, they offer a safe and supportive environment where people can step away from the everyday, reflect, and connect more deeply with themselves. The use of alternative practices is never encouraged or promoted outside of this carefully held context. Where it is present, it is always approached responsibly, within a structured framework that prioritises safety, informed consent, and conscious preparation.
Each retreat begins well before we gather in person. We take time to prepare together — through conversations, health and wellbeing checks, and practical guidance such as diet — so that your journey into the experience feels safe, intentional, and deeply personal.
During retreat, you will be part of a small group of no more than six participants. Two facilitators are present throughout, offering steady presence, guidance, and support. Our role is to hold the space with integrity and compassion, so that you can enter the experience knowing you are cared for and your well-being is our priority.
We are committed to creating retreats that are both safe and meaningful, with clear boundaries and deep respect for each individual’s process. These are spaces of exploration and reflection, not therapy, and we hold that distinction with care and integrity.
